Jake Klein has been passionate about photography for most of his life. In 2005 Jake began to study more about the different types of photography that he might want to take on,and the technical challenges of these types of photography. Living in Las Vegas and working in the entertainment and event industry for over 28 years, he had the opportunity to work alongside some of the top headliner entertainers, artists, and photographers.
Starting as a concert photographer "chosen for its difficulty" and of course his love for live music and live entertainment Jake worked hard to shoot hundreds of shows, concerts, and theater productions from Las Vegas to New York and around the world.
In 2010 Jake made the decision to devote all his free time to this artistic passion and after 5 years of working hard to hone his craft and make a name for himself, he officially launched his website www.JakeKleinPhotography.com
in 2012 Jake was asked if he could write a small article on an event he shot for. His first article was received so well he was asked to write more. Since then Jake has been published in many local and international magazines and newspapers, and now proudly holds the title of Photojournalist.
In 2018 Jake Bought a 24ft Mercedes RV and set out on a 2-year Journey across America and Canada, after 2 years Jake has enjoyed himself so much that he has decided to continue the journey for at least another year. Along the Journey www.Photogtravels.com Jake has continued his passion for photography and tried to capture all aspects from landscape to people and places along the way. Fortunate to have made friends spread out across the countries landscape Jake has found himself shooting families, weddings, and festivals.
The most common question he is asked is what type of photographer are you and his answer is always: “I don't consider myself just one type of photographer, I am passionate about many forms of the art of photography not only the feeling it gives me but the connection I make to either the person or thing I am photographing".
